EJB 3.x Syllabus

EJB 3.x is the new incarnation of much dreaded EJB 2.x. In the new release, EJB 3.x surpasses its expectations by simplifying developments of distributed applications as well as by introducing standard for ORM frameworks in the form of JPA. the purpose of this course is to train students in the usage of Session Beans, Message Driven Beans, JPA and Entity Beans.

1. Introduction to EJB 2. Implementation of Stateless and Stateful Session Beans 3. Introduction to Java Naming & Directory Service (JNDI) 4. Introduction to Java Messaging Services (JMS) 5. JMS Configuration 6. Developing JMS Clients 7. Implementation of Message Driven Beans 8. Introduction to JPA 9. Relation between JPA and Hibernate 10. Persisting Entities using JPA 11. Implementation of Is-A Mappings 12. Implementation of Has-A Mappings 13. Bidirectional Association Mappings 14. Implementation of Entity Beans 15. Defining Client Applications for Session & Entity Beans Prerequisite:- Knowledge of Core Java, Servlets, JSP and RMI is must for this course.
